About
April 5, 2018Baba Yaga opened in May of 2018 with a solo show by Jenni Crain in an apartment building in Hudson New York. This was followed by two more solos in the same space - and two group shows, at Pulver's Glass on Green Street and at the former LoneStar Cement Plant. The gallery also staged an exhibition inside a hollow snow pile in the former Shop Rite parking lot off Fairview Avenue. Since the Spring of 2020, the gallery has existed at 5821 NY State Route 9-G. The gallery is run by and for artists in the spirit of Baba Yaga, a magical witch with a house in the woods; a link to the underworld.
